Want to propose a class, guest speaker, community event, or other idea to the Chapel? Here’s how.

The Metaphysical Chapel of Life (and our community under previous names) has always been a community of dedicated, passionate volunteers. We love having our members and guests engaged, and welcome your ideas for metaphysical classes, events, and community gatherings.

In order to have something hosted at the Chapel, or for the Chapel to participate in something, a proposal must be submitted to the boards for review and approval by the Board of Directors and Board of Ministers.

The Board of Directors meets on the 1st Sunday of the Month unless otherwise noted. The Board of Ministers meets separately, and sends a representative to the Board of Directors meeting. Proposals should be submitted two weeks prior to any scheduled meeting so our all-volunteer board and ministers have time to review it. But don’t worry—if it’s less than two weeks away, sometimes we can still add it to the agenda! The Board of Directors meetings are open to our members, and those submitting a proposal are invited to attend the meeting and discuss their proposal briefly at the beginning of the meeting if the proposer desires, and in case the board has any questions.

Classes & Events

Want to propose or facilitate a class or event? The best way to start off is to contact our Program Committee to get the ball rolling—you can find those details at MChapelOfLife.org/Volunteer. They’ll show you the ropes and give you an idea of what we have going on at the moment. Or, you can directly submit an Event or Class Proposal.
